Interesting. There are over 100 genes in the anterior cingulate cortex that are expressed differently between men and women. A portion of that cortex is heavily involved with emotional response. Now who could ever have guessed that there are differences in emotional responses between men and women? Also interesting is the finding that there are a great many genes that are different even in organs like the spleen, the pancreas, the esophagus, etc. So all a man needs to do to change himself into a woman is change the expression of over 6,000 genes? Sounds simple enough.

The amicus brief by 11 flag officers for the Heller case makes much better reading.

The list of hip cities includes Salt Lake City? Wow.

Republicans have already pretty much deserted California. Of course, the California Legislature has set a high standard on how to write budgets. 😉

Not sure who Taylor Swift is.
You remember the recent hurricane relief One America Appeal concert at Texas A&M featuring all five former presidents, the Texas governor, and a bunch of first-rank performers? My eldest daughter runs the backstage of Reed Arena. She told the Secret Service SWAT team where they could hang, and showed Lady Gaga to a third-floor dressing room because she had already assigned five F-POTUS the good ones.

And here I thought I was cool, using Excel to write HTML.

Compare these women of Weinsberg to Taylor Swift: When King Conrad III defeated the Duke of Welf (in the year 1140) and placed Weinsberg under siege, the wives of the besieged castle negotiated a surrender which granted them the right to leave with whatever they could carry on their shoulders. The king allowed them that much. Leaving everything else aside, each woman took her own husband on her shoulders and carried him out. When the king’s people saw what was happening, many of them said that that was not what had been meant and wanted to put a stop to it. But the king laughed and accepted the women’s clever trick. ‘A king’ he said, ‘should always stand by his word.'” – http://www.pitt.edu/~dash/type0875ast.html

Too embarrassing, this cop theft in Wyoming. At least it is mostly along the southern border. For some weird reason, pretty much all of Wyoming is hysterical over the idea that those in Colorado can use cannabis now. From what I’ve read, much of the searching and snatching is related to that. But then, thugs always enjoy stealing, don’t they? Sadly, we even seem to have quite a few cop thugs in Wyoming.

Wow. Of all the groups and causes they could have chosen, those are as bad as it gets when it comes to alienating their core audience even more than they already have.

They could have bought into education or recreation for inner-city kids. They could have donated to an affordable housing project. Given the original roots of the kneeling protests, they could have set up a group to help cops and young black men to forge more life-sustaining relationships. But no; the NFL owners and organization go all-out left and pause only to spit in their customers’ faces.
