FREE James Bovard kindle book

FREE today and tomorrow, after that, $3.00: Jim Bovard’s new book Freedom Fauds: Hard Lessons in American Liberty.

This is a collection of essays. Jim assures me he’s been told that “the first essay alone is worth the price of the book — as long as it’s free.”

You be the judge. But Jim received even more enthusiastic accolades for a recent article at The Hill. His topic there: The FBI as America’s secret police. Praise from Hill readers included, “kook, lunatic, Russian agent, sick, delusional, shill” — and that was just for starters.

    Bovard a “Russian agent?” Now that’s almost funny. 🙂 I find the comment section of so many blogs and news outlets to be at least as amusing as the articles themselves. And very revealing. Years ago, a “gun control” article would have many boosters. The last one I saw had about 90% of the comments blasting the author and gun control in general. And that is even true at such liberal rags as Huffington Post and New York Times. Most of the gun control organizations themselves do not have any comment section at all, and those that do are quick to delete anything not favorable. And that tells us a lot too.

    Sounds great. I don’t have or want Kindle. I’ll pay for a different format, preferably a dead tree version.
    (BTW, reading a dead tree “Rebelfire” and enjoying it…even if the world it describes is a bit too creepy/true for comfort.)

    “kook, lunatic, Russian agent, sick, delusional, shill” from readers of “The Hill”;

    I kinda like this guy!
