BTW: A couple of Commentariat members expressed a wish to have an email addy for me so they could send me good links. I really appreciate the thought and am not as secretive with my address as I used to be. Only thing is, I get overwhelmed by email and am more likely to lose track of links sent that way than links just dropped into comment sections (as many of the above were, thank you). Besides, dropping your link into a comment guarantees that lots of people will see it, while emailing it to me means it might fall victim to bad timing or who knows what else.
Still, I love that people want to send me so many good links. At some point maybe I should set up an addy especially for that purpose. As the above H/T’s make clear, you guys are excellent link-finders.
Hmm, re the “dog walker.” I’m not seeing any tactical advantage to that “knuckle” part – at least not on a leash. First, I can well imagine how painful that might be if a dog pulled hard.
I would not want to have my hand confined like that and risk not being able to get it off quickly to draw the gun if necessary. In a serious self defense situation, that delay might be deadly, even if only a few seconds.
Don’t see any reson at all for the knuckle thing. What am I missing here?

Of course you don’t. It’s for people people who can’t carry a gun. And in your pretty universe, that never happens because all you have to say is, “It’s my right and what you say doesn’t matter” and the chagrined cop will just apologize and walk away. The “tactical dog leash” is for people who are trying to cope with reality, something you don’t.
Of course, you’ll probably also point out that anyone can move to a place that recognizes their rights, because everyone knows that everyone has the money to relocate at will, and never has moral obligations that hold them to a place.

Looks like there might be some way to attach a kitchen-style rocker blade to those knuckles with a sliding scabbard over it (such as over a razor) to be available as a weapon. With the leash/blade on the off hand, and a gun in the strong hand, you would have two weapons plus a dog.

Guess I’ve never been a fan of brass knuckles, or kydex knuckles either. But whatever implement I might have on hand to assist in hand-to-hand, I wouldn’t want to have to unclip from a leash first.
My 1A parallel has always been something like, “You don’t really need a 60PPM printer/copier, with a high-capacity paper tray.” Lots of directions to go there, including hi-resolution home-video cameras. Super-8 ought to be good enough.
Don’t ask how I found out the hard way, but anyone with small hands and thin fingers just don’t get along with brass knuckles very well….I’d rather just let the dog have at the bad guy instead……

Try reading it, subsituting “gun owner” for “Jew.” As for “Nuremburg Laws” consider “mandatory gun registration.” And for those readers who live in states with such registration, consider if it’s time to leave, now while you can.

Of course the Second Amendment meant muskets only – at the time it was written; at that time those were the “military assault weapons”.
The Brown Bess in its (I believe three) different patterns had been in use by the British Army and its allies since the 1750s; almost 50 years at the time Bill of Rights was written. So, therefore, every militiaman who brought his musket back with him from the French and Indian War (1756-1763) or the Revolutionary War had a “military-style assault weapon” in their home.
The whole purpose of the Second Ammendment was to level the playing field between populace and tyrannical gov’t. Which is why the writers didn’t put any limitations in it.
All the so-called “Progressives” always talk about the Constitution as a “living document” that has to be “adapted to the modern era”.
Guess what : No adapting necessary with 2A! Its one sentence says it all without limitations on type of arms, period!
