- Apparently Mr. Comey is just fine with Hillary directing her maid to print out classified emails for her.
- Seattle passed a tax on firearm sales, expecting to use the proceeds for studies on “gun violence.” Funny thing happened on the way to all the Big Bux they were expecting, though.
- Maine becomes the thirteenth state to withdraw from the federal refugee resettlement program.
- Anybody seen Dr. Strange yet?
- Good prep site to check out (H/T MJ): Prepared LDS Family.
- Borepatch sez here’s one lefty idea he can really get behind.
- In case you’ve been wondering, here’s who stoners will be v*ting for. Both Clinton and Trump favor cannabis law liberalization, albeit in wishy-washy ways.
- Tempers are getting just a little high these days. Shooting people over the porcupine flag? That’s going a tad too far.
- Have another dose of funny-dog therapy.
See the ads at the bottom of my posts? If you do, I hope you’ll use them for your Amazon shopping in the month of November. Even if the particular items aren’t on your shopping list, if you use the search box on the ad to find what you want Amazon will pay 12% (that’s a lot more than usual) for the items you buy. That’s this month only. Certain categories are excluded (groceries, DVDs, and gift cards, mainly), but these ads are a big — though temporary — boon. If you don’t see the ad below, use the usual links. Either way, thanks!
The fix is in for HRC and the Clintons are obviously above the law!
Saw Dr. Strange on Thursday night, in an almost-empty local theater. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The spiritual concepts are pretty out there, and wrong, but hey, this is the Marvel comic universe. I go there for fun, not education. And it was fun.
And it’s a Marvel film. There are two extra scenes, one after the fancy credits and another at the very end, after the boring credits run. Worth waiting for.
When you have a bunch of moon bats that couldn’t manage a lemonade stand, it’s no wonder that they don’t understand that the more you tax something the less you’ll get the results you want. When New York City raised the cigarette tax they got the same results. Leading to the goon squads running around arresting people selling lose cigarettes. They went from law enforcement to tax collection. And there is many other examples. But the loonies will keep doing it hoping for different results.
Huh. One time I met a guy who didn’t like our dullhawk flag because it ripped off a Gadsden. I thought that was pretty extreme, but it didn’t come to shooting. Guess I don’t know what extreme is. Or maybe drunk.
Lawlessness is now officially (albeit slyly) encouraged. http://www.wnd.com/2016/11/obama-encourages-illegal-aliens-to-vote/
He’s certainly not done yet. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/rambling-reporter/jeffrey-katzenberg-says-obama-still-has-huge-agenda-before-leaving-white-house-943
He even knows when to use the word “republic.” http://www.businessinsider.com/obama-donald-trump-north-carolina-2016-11
It recently occurred to me that one consequence of having a multi-day voting period is that it gives the MSM much more opportunity to interpret current events and send manipulating information to the unsuspecting. And with things getting testier and testier, martial law in the near future does not seem out of the question.
I went and saw Doctor Strange Saturday night to an almost full IMAX theater. Thoroughly enjoyed it as I have with all the Marvel movies. But I missed the 2nd scene at the very end. Once I saw the first one I figured that was it. May have to go back and watch it again.
Having the maid print out her sensitive emails was OK because it was in a “secure room.” And anyway, she probably doesn’t read English anyway!
I haven’t seen Dr. Strange yet but plan to. Generally I’m not a fan of superhero movies or Marvel comics generally, but that one looks like fun. I also plan to see the new JK Rowling movie “Fantastic Beasts”.
Funny thing happened on the way to all the Big Bux they were expecting, though.
Don’t think so. They may have sold the idea as raising funds, but I bet what they wanted was all the gun stores out of Seattle. Which they have accomplished, so now unicorns or something.

No. Really? OUR msm? (I think I won’t capitalize it any more.)
You mean like all the reports that Hillary is carrying the early voting? Where they don’t essplain they’re counting “People who voted in the Democrat v Republican primaries” without, you know, actually knowing who those secret ballots were really marked for?
Dr. Strange was, well, strange. Another “channel the forces of good or evil for power because science and reason suck” theme. It was, OTOH, strangely topical. The Chief Bad Guy promised eternal life and great benefits if you just joined his team.
Turns out it’s a life of eternal torture for his amusement, but hey, nothing’s perfect.
And anyway, she probably doesn’t read English anyway!
You mean like when the Aristocracy used to talk in front of the servants, because hey, they’re just furniture.
