If so, it might be thanks to a tenacious mother of four and a few judges who haven&#8217;t completely sold their souls to the security state. Yet. (Tip o&#8217; the hat to <a href=\"http:\/\/jimbovard.com\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jim<\/a>)\n<li>And speaking of Jim, <a href=\"http:\/\/jimbovard.com\/blog\/2010\/04\/07\/the-bush-secrecy-legacy\/\" target=\"_blank\">darned good article.<\/a> But you are sabotaging my efforts to keep this blog more positive.\n<li>Just in case you need another look at the &#8220;century&#8217;s most important graph,&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kitco.com\/ind\/Turk\/turk_apr052010.html\" target=\"_blank\">here&#8217;s another take on it.<\/a> You hardly need the writing. That darned graph is just plain scary.\n<li>Another one from Charles Curley, who gave us the most useless software. More useful this time: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.charlescurley.com\/blog\/archives\/2010\/04\/06\/psychocats_net_ubuntu_linux_resources\/\" target=\"_blank\">resources for moving to Ubuntu Linux<\/a>. Much of this, but not all, applies to Mint users, as well.\n<li>I really hope <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/travel\/blog\/2010\/04\/ryanair_moves_a.html\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a> is a belated April Fools joke. OTOH, some people might think it&#8217;s a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ethiopianreview.com\/news\/58733\" target=\"_blank\">smarter move than some other airlines have made.<\/a> Me, I think flying&#8217;s unpleasant enough without pay-to-pee. And one potty for 189 trapped people? OMG!\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/counterpunch.org\/levine04022010.html\" target=\"_blank\">Drugged warriors.<\/a> Maybe that helps explain the eerie glee in the now-infamous <a href=\"http:\/\/collateralmurder.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;collateral murder&#8221; video<\/a>.\n<\/ul>\n<p>I really am trying to cheer this place up a little.
