(H\/T C^2)\n<li>How it&#8217;s likely to turn out when the feddies decide to <a href=\"http:\/\/fff.org\/explore-freedom\/article\/dont-trust-the-feds-happiness-index\/\" target=\"_blank\">start measuring our happiness<\/a>.\n<li>I knew the name Tim Racer through dog rescue. He and his wife founded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.badrap.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">BadRap<\/a>, one of the first pit bull rescues. But man oh man, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timracer.com\/html\/carv.html\" target=\"_blank\">look what else he does!<\/a> Turns out he&#8217;s an accomplished restorer of carousel animals and has branched out into creating (with the collaboration of painter Pam Hessey) these beautiful custom carousel dogs.\n<li>One thing New York&#8217;s new anti-gun law <a href=\"http:\/\/jimbovard.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/16\/new-york-gun-control-law-restricts-everything-except\/\" target=\"_blank\">won&#8217;t accomplish<\/a>.\n<li>Two from Mental Floss. Twelve proposed U.S. states <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mentalfloss.com\/article\/12641\/12-proposed-us-states-didnt-make-cut\" target=\"_blank\">that didn&#8217;t make the cut<\/a>.
