Their main new feature is that they give the NSA the chance to get your fingerprint, along with everything else. But! Not! To worry! They&#8217;ll only get your fingerprint &#8220;securely.&#8221; Because these phones are secure-secure-secure. (H\/T O)\n<li>Bravo, Paul Bonneau: <a href=\"http:\/\/strike-the-root.com\/appeal-to-nsa-engineers\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;An appeal to NSA engineers.&#8221;<\/a>\n<li>L.A. sent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wptv.com\/dpp\/news\/national\/bernie-jones-california-man-builds-massive-doomsday-bunker-in-his-back-yard\" target=\"_blank\">this article<\/a> along with the comment that if you have to get government permission to build a doomsday bunker, perhaps you&#8217;re in the wrong location for riding doomsday out. (Oh no, tsks the deputy mayor, &#8220;Children have been held in bunkers.&#8221;)\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.seattledogspot.com\/blog\/dog-blog\/post\/dog-training-program-at-stafford-creek-corrections-center-an-amazing-success\" target=\"_blank\">This is a great program.<\/a> Our local group has placed dogs in it. It&#8217;s not quite true that most of the dogs would have been euthanized. It <i>is<\/i> true that nearly all come from very rough circumstances and will have better lives because of their training. And the prison program hasn&#8217;t flinched at taking some pretty difficult cases.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/themattwalshblog.com\/2013\/08\/23\/kids-go-to-college-or-youll-die-alone-in-misery\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Kids, go to college or you&#8217;ll die alone in misery,&#8221;<\/a> says Matt Walsh with tongue brilliantly in cheek.\n<li>There is one good thing to say about the NSA, FBI, et al. Their shenanigans are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/2013\/sep\/09\/nsa-sabotage-dead-mans-switch\" target=\"_blank\">forcing innocent privacy lovers and software geeks to become more creative<\/a>. (H\/T AF) And it&#8217;s a sure thing government overreach will eventually force all online security measures to become better and smarter. We just happen to be living in the crappy &#8216;tween times.\n<li>Speaking of smart people vs the Stasi, here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freemansperspective.com\/cryptohippies-response-to-the-nsas-attack-on-encryption\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cryptohippie&#8217;s response<\/a> to NSA creepery.\n<\/ul>\n<p>And now we definitely need another funny dog video. This one comes from the folks who made the ever-watchable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nGeKSiCQkPw\" target=\"_blank\">Ultimate Dog Tease<\/a> a few years back.
