But with a deadline approaching, a construction project pounding away next door, a guy tearing a derelict bathroom out of my place, and Ava having gone insane from all the people around who <i>won&#8217;t<\/i> throw tennis balls*, Deep Thought is as impossible right now as endorsing Obamacare or v*ting for Michael Bloomberg.<\/p>\n<p>So for now here are some links.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Here&#8217;s one of those news stories that&#8217;s no surprise at all to us political <del datetime=\"2013-10-29T17:52:47+00:00\">cynics<\/del> realists but is still pretty stunning <a href=\"http:\/\/investigations.nbcnews.com\/_news\/2013\/10\/29\/21222195-obama-administration-knew-millions-could-not-keep-their-health-insurance\" target=\"_blank\">considering the MSM source<\/a>: the Obama administration has known all along that the line about being able to keep your current insurance was a lie. Not just the law, but their own fine-print regulations, were turning it impossible.\n<li>How Obamacare <i>really<\/i> works. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.softgreenglow.com\/wp\/2013\/10\/no-need-to-for-long-explanations\/\" target=\"_blank\">No words needed<\/a>.\n<li>I don&#8217;t usually promote tourist destinations or articles about them. But OMG, what oblivious (though oh-so-accidentally-astute) fool named <a href=\"http:\/\/www.budgettravel.com\/feature\/10-incredible-world-landmarks-you-you-havent-seen-yet,8762\/\" target=\"_blank\">The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement&#8221;?<\/a> They could have lowered their sign budget by leaving off the last 17 letters.\n<li>Oh sure. But it&#8217;s <i>okay<\/i> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2013\/oct\/28\/nsa-surveillance-dianne-feinstein-opposed-allies\" target=\"_blank\">as long as they&#8217;re only spying on us little people<\/a>. Way to go, DiFi. Stick up for members of your power pack. (H\/T S)\n<li>These stories about the Army <a href=\"http:\/\/townhall.com\/columnists\/toddstarnes\/2013\/10\/28\/army-briefing-labels-tea-party-christians-as-terror-threats-n1732521\" target=\"_blank\">indoctrinating soldiers against their fellow citizens<\/a> are beginning to get worrisome.\n<\/ul>\n<p>* Ava believes that the sole purpose for strange men in the house or yard is to entertain her.
