Darned shame we can’t buy guns and ammo* on Amazon.com. But that doesn’t mean we can’t buy plenty of gunstuff. (And fortunately, many of us do.)<\/p>\n
It’s a little hard to come up with a highly targeted list of Amazon gunthings because … well, you know. No two gun owners have the same needs or styles. And many battles have spattered Internet forums with pixelated gore over whether steel is better than combat tupperware or .45 ACP better than 9mm parabellum.<\/p>\n
So I’m aiming here to give you some hopefully non-controversial inspiration.<\/p>\n
For the lady in your life<\/b> (which, of course, may be you<\/i>, Amazon carries concealed carry purses<\/a> in styles, colors, and sizes to please anybody. Friend of mine swears by this one from Gun Tote’n Mamas<\/a> (which unfortunately is among the pricier ones).<\/p>\n And for we who don’t carry purses<\/b> how ’bout a concealed carry fanny pack<\/a>? Amazon’s got a million of ’em. Well 99 or thereabouts.<\/p>\n While we’re on the subject of carrying gear<\/b>, don’t forget range bags<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n Alice packs<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n Or those nifty (and not too<\/i> insanely pricey) Maxpedition Versipacks<\/a><\/b>?<\/p>\n But all that carrying is making me tired. Time to sit down an … reload!<\/p>\n Lee Loaders<\/a><\/b> are inexpensive and good for those who just want to try out the art of reloading. Or for people who intend to handcraft every individual cartridge.<\/p>\n And of course, Amazon wouldn’t be Amazon if it didn’t carry the fabulous Dillon Precision RL550B 4 Stage Progressive Reloading Machine<\/a><\/b> (for you who don’t<\/i> want to handcraft every cartridge).<\/p>\n Plus, of course reloading components and manuals<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n Holsters<\/a>?<\/b> Check!<\/p>\n Gun belts<\/a>?<\/b> Ditto! (This canvas shooter’s bag with belt<\/a> seems like a pretty decent budget-priced item; haven’t tried is so can’t really say, but it looks good.)<\/p>\n And don’t forget books<\/b> on building pistol skills<\/a><\/b>, rifle skills<\/a><\/b>, and defensive shotgun skills<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n Amazon also sells videos on all those skills, as well. But the selection’s too overwhelming to link to (and an astonishing number of them are in VHS; VHS??? Are you kidding???). So here I’ll leave you to your own devices — whatever kind, caliber, or material those devices may be. ADDED: Not to mention, as firearms instructor LarryA noted in comments, ear protection<\/a>, eye protection<\/a>, and gun storage options<\/a>.<\/p>\n Possibilities are limited only to your time, imagination, and budget and the tastes of the gunowners on your Santa list.
