I could have bored you silly with tales of how Henri Coanda <i>almost<\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Coand%C4%83-1910\" target=\"_blank\">invented a jet plane<\/a> in 1910 and how Jacqueline Cochran won the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wgbh\/amex\/flygirls\/peopleevents\/pandeAMEX01.html\" target=\"_blank\">Bendix Race<\/a>. But I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.snopes.com\/travel\/airline\/arrows.asp\" target=\"_blank\">never knew this<\/a>.\n<li>It&#8217;s touching that after all they put him through that original whistleblower cop Frank Serpico <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/magazine\/story\/2015\/04\/north-charleston-shooting-116871.html\" target=\"_blank\">still has such hope<\/a> for justice. (And it certainly is a good sign that the worst gangsters are <i>finally<\/i> starting to be fired and charged with felonies rather than being rewarded with paid vacations and excuses.)\n<li>Beaten up by thugs.
