OTOH, given <a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/2015\/07\/26\/news\/companies\/chrysler-105-million-fine\/\" target=\"_blank\">the company&#8217;s record<\/a> of mishandling recalls, don&#8217;t be too optimistic.\n<li>New micro device <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/articles\/2015\/07\/25\/this-device-brings-brave-new-world-to-life.html\" target=\"_blank\">delivers drugs<\/a> directly to the brain. <i>Not my brain, buddy!<\/i>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/news.nationalpost.com\/full-comment\/rex-murphy-dont-blame-trump-blame-america\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Don&#8217;t Blame Trump; Blame America.&#8221;<\/a> Once you get past the offensive title there&#8217;s a lot to agree with. (Tip o&#8217; hat to MJR)\n<li>And yes, the SJWs have gone completely around the bend. Latest target: Dante. <i>The Divine Comedy<\/i>, one of the great classics of literature*, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/culture\/culturenews\/9140869\/Dantes-Divine-Comedy-offensive-and-should-be-banned.html\" target=\"_blank\">is no longer fit to be taught in schools<\/a> because Dante Alighieri, who lived 800 years ago, failed to hold approved modern opinions. <i>Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch&#8217;entrate<\/i> indeed!\n<\/ul>\n<p>* Which I once read in the original Italian. Not that I&#8217;m bragging or anything. Couldn&#8217;t do it today and even then I had to have an Italian dictionary at hand, not to mention a guide to the characters (oddly enough, hell turns out to be largely <a href=\"http:\/\/www.danteinferno.info\/characters\/\" target=\"_blank\">populated by medieval Italians<\/a>, many of them Dante&#8217;s political enemies). I also skipped most of the <i>Purgatorio<\/i> and the <i>Paradiso<\/i>. Nobody, not even Dante, has ever come up with a description of heaven that isn&#8217;t a total snooze. The gruesome <i>Inferno<\/i> is the only part anybody cares about.
