Again, it&#8217;s by somebody who&#8217;s hardly a pro-gun purist. Here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2015\/10\/05\/hillarys-gun-show-loophole-proposal-is-a-joke\/\" target=\"_blank\">another good one<\/a>.\n<li>I&#8217;d expect this sort of thing in over-regulated, over-zoned cities, but when rural Colorado tries to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2015\/10\/camping-on-your-own-land-is-now-illegal.html\" target=\"_blank\">keep people from living off-grid<\/a> on their own land, we&#8217;re truly in a pickle. (Via jed in comments)\n<li>Have you ever complained about how some arbitrary credit score governs too much of your life (from the ability to rent an apartment to whether or not you can get a job)? Well, if <a href=\"https:\/\/www.privateinternetaccess.com\/blog\/2015\/10\/in-china-your-credit-score-is-now-affected-by-your-political-opinions-and-your-friends-political-opinions\/\" target=\"_blank\">this article is accurate<\/a>, you should be glad you don&#8217;t live in China. Where your political opinions and those of your friends might soon be scored. (I must stress, though, that I don&#8217;t yet know how correct this info is. A writer on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aclu.org\/blog\/free-future\/chinas-nightmarish-citizen-scores-are-warning-americans\" target=\"_blank\">the ACLU site<\/a> confirms the original piece, but more solid info is needed.)\n<li>TPP negotiations are finished and the Electronic Frontier Foundation calls the (still largely secret) pact <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eff.org\/deeplinks\/2015\/09\/users-have-been-betrayed-final-tpp-deal-help-us-tell-washington-how-you-feel\" target=\"_blank\">a betrayal<\/a>.\n<li>The old-fashioned way to say this is, <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.simplejustice.us\/2015\/10\/06\/ten-favs-from-the-bill-of-rights\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;The Bill of Rights isn&#8217;t a Chinese menu.&#8221;<\/a> Pretty good thinking for a New York lawyer. \ud83d\ude09 (H\/T S)\n<li>Sorry for the <i>Schadenfreude<\/i>, but I&#8217;m still laughing at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsj.com\/article_email\/zuckerbergs-100-million-lesson-1444087064-lMyQjAxMTA1NzA1NjIwMDY2Wj\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Zuckerberg&#8217;s $100 Million Lesson&#8221;<\/a>.\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Even a gun controller calls Obama&#8217;s response to the UCC campus killings a tantrum and correctly states that nothing Our Glorious Leader wants will end violence.
