The census snoops are still snooping around? I thought that was over for now. But no, <a href=\"http:\/\/idaholiberty.com\/?p=376\" target=\"_blank\">Ted Dunlap just had to draw his line in the sand.<\/a> Good going, Ted. Hope you&#8217;ll keep us posted about what happens &#8212; and I hope nothing does. For the record, I never saw a census taker this year. While I was still living in the desert fifth-wheel, one showed up early in the spring, weeks before city folks got their forms in the mail, and left a form in a bag on the door. Made a nice litter bag, while the form itself went into the trash. Nobody ever followed up.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/well.blogs.nytimes.com\/2010\/09\/21\/the-policeman-vs-the-nurse\/\" target=\"_blank\">The policeman vs the nurse.<\/a> Sure, she should&#8217;ve kept her mouth shut. But what a thin-skinned bastard.\n<li>So did anybody try following <a href=\"http:\/\/www.backwoodshome.com\/blogs\/ClaireWolfe\/2010\/09\/24\/a-sabbath-manifesto\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Sabbath Manifesto<\/a> this weekend? Here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sabbath\" target=\"_blank\">more on the tradition of Sabbaths<\/a> in various religions. And here&#8217;s financial writer Rachel Sklar, who <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/w-2010-9\" target=\"_blank\">tried following the manifesto and didn&#8217;t like it<\/a>. Me, I think it&#8217;s great to get away for a day from e-communications. But I&#8217;d rather strip paint than meditate or connect with family.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/theultimateanswertokings.blogspot.com\/2010\/09\/what-hell-lets-join-meme.html\" target=\"_blank\">Joel talks back to an anti-gunner<\/a>\n<li>Terrific think piece: <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052748703989304575503730101860838.html\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;The Genius of the Tinkerer.&#8221;<\/a> And a new word!
