You guys are making this a good month on my Amazon links<\/a> — though surprisingly there’s scant sign of gift buying yet. People seem to be buying lots of parts to build and repair things. Interesting.<\/p>\n

But lots o’ parts is good because the number of items shipped in a calendar month determine the commission percentage. Thanks to you, I’m within a hair’s breadth of making the 7.5% commission rate for only the second or third time ever. A very few more items both ordered and fulfilled<\/i> today would do it.<\/p>\n

Kindle books … gift cards … those items always get same-day fulfillment. In fact, about half of all items get fulfilled on the day they’re ordered. But Kindle books and gift cards are a sure thing. A single $.99 Kindle book, ordered at the right time, could make an outsized difference.<\/p>\n
