Wonder what Ayn Rand would&#8217;ve thought of <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052748703743504575493500432327106.html?mod=googlenews_wsj\" target=\"_blank\">this guy &#8212; &#8220;the buzzard of the backcountry&#8221;<\/a>?\n<li>Paul Rosenberg continues his series on basic computer privacy with <a href=\"http:\/\/dailyanarchist.com\/2010\/09\/30\/what-is-pgp-and-why-you-need-to-know\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;What is PGP and why you need to know.&#8221;<\/a> It&#8217;s too bad so many people find email encryption so daunting. With the feds seeking backdoors for all encryption that&#8217;s done by third-party providers, having our <i>own<\/i> encryption could become even more crucial in the not-too-distant future.\n<li>Don&#8217;t you wonder, when you see articles like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/health\/la-na-fda-mouthwash-warning-20100929,0,7142388.story\" target=\"_blank\">this one<\/a>, why nobody ever demands that the <i>government<\/I> stop making false claims? I mean, which is a bigger deal &#8212; lying about Listerine or lying about &#8230; oh, everything.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.timesdispatch.com\/news\/commentaries\/2010\/sep\/27\/ed-care27-ar-526411\/\" target=\"_blank\">Yeah. Precisely.<\/a>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/china-silent-power-grabs-afghanistan-iraq-rare-earths-2010-9\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;silent power grabs&#8221;<\/a> of China. Didn&#8217;t that used to be called &#8220;diplomacy&#8221;?
