But the basic point is good.\n<li>Thailand <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laht.com\/article.asp?ArticleId=2401528&#038;CategoryId=36641\" target=\"_blank\">investigates the U.S. ambassador<\/a> for l\u00e8se-majest\u00e9 &#8212; because he criticized l\u00e8se-majest\u00e9 arrests.\n<li>Never, but never, ever, did I think anybody would <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.com\/blog\/news\/2015\/12\/new-research-shows-medical-marijuana-legislation-linked-with-decreased-obesity\/\" target=\"_blank\">say this<\/a> about marijuana. Never.\n<li>Ugh. Big data to be the next <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/dell-big-data-is-next-trillion-dollars-2015-12\" target=\"_blank\">trillion-dollar business<\/a>? Oh, please &#8230;\n<li>Socks. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sciencetech\/article-3356270\/A-wee-ly-good-idea-Socks-containing-URINE-powered-fuel-cells-generate-electricity-wearer-walks.html\" target=\"_blank\">Containing urine<\/a>. Circulated by walking. Generating electricity.\n<li>Just because you&#8217;re <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/12\/13\/opinion\/is-this-really-how-you-get-your-gun.html\" target=\"_blank\">inept and unprepared, buddy<\/a>, doesn&#8217;t mean the rest of us are. (Still, the certification process sounds horribly inadequate if it was anything like he describes.)\n<li>The White House is shocked. Truly. Shocked! That <a href=\"https:\/\/pjmedia.com\/trending\/2015\/12\/11\/josh-earnest-white-house-flabbergasted-shocked-by-rising-gun-sales\" target=\"_blank\">Americans are buying so many guns<\/a>. Are they really this clueless or is there some Big Lie purpose here?\n<li>Finally. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ijreview.com\/2015\/12\/486835-muslim-group-calls-out-pc-culture-for-being-too-afraid-to-take-down-islamic-extremism\/\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a> is what moderate Muslims should have been doing since 2001. And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/how-to-beat-islamic-state-1449850833\" target=\"_blank\">this, too<\/a>. Kudos to them, and here&#8217;s hoping these are not just passing nothings but the beginning of a serious trend.\n<li>Marco Rubio, however much of an establishment-sucking neocon he may otherwise be, deserves a lot of credit for cutting Obamacare off at the knees by legislating against a bailout of insurance companies. But uh oh, it now appears that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/johngoodman\/2015\/12\/10\/the-biggest-threat-to-obamacare-is-already-written-into-law-no-insurance-industry-bailouts\/\" target=\"_blank\">Obamaites may pull a bailout<\/a> out of their hats, anyhow.\n<li>Best get those online Christmas orders placed ASAP. UPS and FedEx say <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/ups-fedex-shipping-delays-threaten-retail-christmas-2015-12\" target=\"_blank\">this story about delivery delays<\/a> isn&#8217;t accurate. But I&#8217;ve already had a &#8220;two-day&#8221; delivery take four days this month. And I watched online as another package simply sat on a loading dock for three days before ultimately arriving five days late.\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/imgur.com\/a\/Gjcb5\" target=\"_blank\">How trolling is done<\/a>. \ud83d\ude42\n<li>Normally I am not charmed by &#8220;soldier and his dog&#8221; photos.
