The Daily Kos<\/i> has proposed the detailed firearm confiscation plan<\/a> the NYT and other more delicate souls have been tippy-toeing around.<\/p>\n

It’s comprehensive. It’s brutal. It takes no prisoners<\/del> multi-millions of prisoners. With no due process.<\/p>\n

After a mere quick skim I can spot a dozen reasons that while it would turn streets bloody from Miami, Florida, to Homer, Alaska… it still wouldn’t damnwell work<\/i>. If “work” means eliminate firearms.<\/p>\n

For eliminating firearms, it’s completely, wildly laughable. Though I admit it would certainly be excellent at creating both civil war and tyranny.<\/p>\n

How ’bout a Commentariat fisking, guys? Go for it. Count the ways that this “plan” would be a savage catastrophe. Tell the world what you think of the Kos<\/i> masterplan to end “gun violence.”<\/p>\n
