And the &#8220;only ones&#8221; are going to commit even more bloody mayhem than they already do with this in their hands.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasp.eu\/en\/osa-pb-4-2.html\" target=\"_blank\">This, on the other hand<\/a>, is bizaarrish. And their rationale for it (in the video) is laughable. But the innovation is intriguing. According to Wikipedia, it&#8217;s been around since 1999 in Russia, but looks as if there might be a serious push for it in the U.S. this year. (H\/T MJR)\n<li>This morning, Obama&#8217;s fedgov took its the first step toward its long-dreaded <a href=\"http:\/\/joshblackman.com\/blog\/2016\/01\/04\/instant-analysis-of-executive-actions-to-reduce-gun-violence-and-make-our-communities-safer\/\" target=\"_blank\">executive action<\/a> on guns. &#8220;Laughable fizzle&#8221; is my first response to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/the-press-office\/2016\/01\/04\/fact-sheet-new-executive-actions-reduce-gun-violence-and-make-our\" target=\"_blank\">White Paper<\/a>. But other phrases like &#8220;camel&#8217;s nose&#8221; and &#8220;slippery slope&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/freebeacon.com\/issues\/obama-executive-order-may-require-those-selling-even-a-single-firearm-become-licensed-dealers\/\" target=\"_blank\">most assuredly apply<\/a>. (More to come from the White House today, but I&#8217;m prepping this post before the final news is out.)\n<li>Unintentionally funny: the best ways <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/future\/story\/20150906-the-best-and-worst-ways-to-spot-a-liar\" target=\"_blank\">to spot a liar<\/a>. Not through secret training in body language or eye movements (aka expensive guesswork). Just the old-fashioned way.
