Hillary may be a rabid hoplophobe, but at least she&#8217;s not a fascist. Not quite, anyhow. (H\/T NK)\n<li>Bill O&#8217;Reilly&#8217;s another &#8220;conservative&#8221; quick to hop on the anti-gun bandwagon. Doesn&#8217;t understand <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/bill-oreilly-orlando-fox-news-2016-6\" target=\"_blank\">the meaning of the word &#8220;regulate,&#8221;<\/a> either.\n<li>But Edward Morrissey <a href=\"http:\/\/theweek.com\/articles\/629805\/misguided-ferocity-antigun-left\" target=\"_blank\">gets it. Mostly<\/a>. This is <i>not<\/i> the time to go squishy. Not the time to compromise with those whose aim is our total subjugation. Not the time to look for quick fixes that rob more rights. Now, more than ever, is the time to stand up and say NO and HELL NO.\n<li>And there&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/news\/pulse-orlando-nightclub-shooting\/la-na-orlando-nightclub-rescue-20160612-snap-story.html\" target=\"_blank\">human decency<\/a> amid the carnage.\n<li>Oklahoma cops backtrack &#8212; momentarily &#8212; on <a href=\"http:\/\/oklahomawatch.org\/2016\/06\/13\/highway-patrol-defends-use-of-prepaid-card-readers-blasts-internet-assassinations\/\" target=\"_blank\">stealing funds out of prepaid cards<\/a> during traffic stops.\n<li>More support emerges for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realclearscience.com\/articles\/2016\/06\/15\/should_we_go_back_to_sleeping_twice_a_night_109670.html\" target=\"_blank\">two-phase sleep habit<\/a>.\n<li>In Britain, support swings toward the Brexit, and Ambrose Evans-Pritchard <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/business\/2016\/06\/12\/brexit-vote-is-about-the-supremacy-of-parliament-and-nothing-els\/\" target=\"_blank\">states the good case<\/a>. British bookies, however, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2016-06-14\/why-bookies-are-still-pretty-sure-brexit-isn-t-going-to-happen\" target=\"_blank\">still predict Britain will remain<\/a> in the EU. Pity.\n<li>I think mere minimalism &#8212; in the sense of getting rid of possessions and acquiring fewer of them &#8212; is overrated. It doesn&#8217;t strike at the root of the problem of a cluttered, misdirected life. Clutter and excess are symptoms, not causes. Still, if you struggle with material too-muchness <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/joshuabecker\/2016\/06\/14\/8-ways-minimalism-can-help-maximize-your-wallet\/#41681ac5934d\" target=\"_blank\">these tips<\/a> are pretty decent.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/anothergunblog.blogspot.com\/2016\/06\/when-do-you-know-its-time.html\" target=\"_blank\">When do you know it&#8217;s time?<\/a> No, not to shoot the bastards, but to put down your dog.
