(H\/T CB)\n<li>Is there <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.simplejustice.us\/2017\/02\/26\/can-diversity-of-thought-co-exist-with-diversity\/\" target=\"_blank\">room at the inn<\/a> (in law schools, that is) for conservative and libertarian academics?\n<li>In the Internet age, even in that part of the Internet age when &#8220;self-identification&#8221; is the new holy grail, representing yourself to be something you are not can not only bite you, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/2017\/02\/26\/rachel-dolezal-white-woman-who-identifies-as-black-now-jobless-may-soon-be-homeless.html\" target=\"_blank\">go on biting and biting and biting you<\/a>.\n<li>Four rituals &#8212; and blessedly I am talking about quick-n-easy rituals (some familiar and some less so) &#8212; that will <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bakadesuyo.com\/2017\/02\/stress-free\/\" target=\"_blank\">quickly de-stress you<\/a>.\n<li>Why people in Sweden are quite rationally <a href=\"http:\/\/www.economist.com\/blogs\/economist-explains\/2017\/02\/economist-explains-19\" target=\"_blank\">overpaying their taxes<\/a> (great link from jc2k in comments)\n<li>Deadbeat dog <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunnyskyz.com\/good-news\/2074\/Abandoned-Dog-Turns-His-Life-Around-By-Landing-A-Full-Time-Job-At-A-Gas-Station\" target=\"_blank\">turns his life around<\/a> and gets a full-time job.\n<\/ul>\n<p>NOTE: Thank you all, with special thanks to Friday guest-poster Shel, for creating a big Amazon weekend. I spent the weekend walking and working and noodling and muddling about where to go from here. Made some decisions about upcoming private\/personal choices, but am still floating in the air about public\/professional\/personal ones (for a blogger the lines are fuzzy).
