But would anybody really be surprised if it were?\n<li>The radiation may not be the only <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lewrockwell.com\/blog\/lewrw\/archives\/70919.html#more-70919\" target=\"_blank\">health hazard.<\/a>\n<li>Heh. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/nationworld\/world\/la-fg-afghanistan-imposter-20101124,0,3962123.story\" target=\"_blank\">So much for trust, but verify.<\/a> Maybe they <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.foreignpolicy.com\/posts\/2010\/11\/23\/top_10_ways_to_tell_your_taliban_friend_is_an_imposter\" target=\"_blank\">shoulda seen the signs.<\/a>\n<li>Want a free gun? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.firearmstalk.com\/forums\/f12\/cross-promotion-issc-m22-22lr-giveaway-33348\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pretty cool one, too.<\/a>\n<li>All the systemic corruption of the U.S. financial system &#8230; all the horrendous harm bankers and regulators and the fed conspired to do to us ordinary working folks and our country. And who does the fedgov decide to go after??? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/the-feds-are-barking-up-the-wrong-tree-with-these-hedge-fund-raids-2010-11\" target=\"_blank\">OMG.<\/a> Insider trading. Next to smoking pot, that&#8217;s got to be the non-crime of the century.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.debtkid.com\/my-short-sale-nightmare-and-how-it-all-ended-up#more-12047\" target=\"_blank\">Story of a short sale.<\/a>\n<li>Coyotes on the streets of Chicago. <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.discovermagazine.com\/discoblog\/2010\/11\/16\/let-loose-the-coyotes-chicago-embraces-rat-hunting-predators\/?utm_source=feedburner&#038;utm_medium=feed&#038;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+DiscoverBlogs+%28Discover+Blogs%29&#038;utm_content=Google+Reader\" target=\"_blank\">Real ones.<\/a>\n<li>One thing that always amazes me is the total degree of not-getting-it-ness in the world. I&#8217;m not just talking about politics or liberty or whatever &#8212; but about the way we humans can filter anything through our own very strange filters until good ideas come out distorted beyond recognition. And beyond belief. Take this statement: &#8220;I&#8217;ve always heard you can&#8217;t change the world until you change yourself and who you are.&#8221; Wisdom, right? Common sense. A great place to begin an examined life. Now take a gawk at <a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Entertainment\/heidi-montag-back-surgeries-back-original-heidi\/story?id=12193864&#038;page=1\" target=\"_blank\">who said that<\/a> and how wildly she twisted it.\n<li>Ah well. Some people really do get it.
