Far as I&#8217;m concerned, everybody in power in DC should be fired. But Jim Bovard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/opinion\/2017\/05\/11\/comey-fbi-fire-trump-russia-investigation-james-bovard-column\/101506342\/\" target=\"_blank\">says the FBI needs booting<\/a> off its pedestal.\n<li>Ah yes, the ever-magical <a href=\"http:\/\/www.11alive.com\/news\/investigations\/the-drug-whisperer\/437061710\" target=\"_blank\">drug whisperers<\/a> on the police force. (H\/T jc2k in comments)\n<li>But alas, some stoners are as dumb as their reputation. Here&#8217;s a pair who, it seems, <a href=\"http:\/\/trib.com\/news\/local\/casper\/man-arrested-after-reporting-to-police-his-weed-was-stolen\/article_8d8315a8-209c-58a4-a215-0f636cc4cfaf.html\" target=\"_blank\">forgot they were no longer in Colorado<\/a> (Tip o&#8217; hat to ML)\n<li>Uh oh. You remember those nasty cyberwar tools developed by the NSA? The ones they carelessly lost control of? Yeah. Seems somebody is putting them <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/telefonica-and-other-firms-have-been-infected-by-wannacry-malware-2017-5\" target=\"_blank\">to serious worldwide use<\/a>. Thanks so very much for keeping us so &#8220;secure,&#8221; famous &#8220;security&#8221; agency. UPDATE: Wendy McElroy <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/nsas-leaked-malware-weaponized-criminals-wendy-mcelroy\/\" target=\"_blank\">just posted her take<\/a> on the NSA&#8217;s criminal bungling in her Bitcoin.com news column.\n<li>So Jimmy Carter and Bernie Sanders believe <a href=\"https:\/\/theintercept.com\/2017\/05\/09\/jimmy-carter-and-bernie-sanders-explain-how-inequality-breeds-authoritarianism\/\" target=\"_blank\">inequality breeds authoritarianism<\/a>. It may be true &#8230; and those two know all about authoritarianism, don&#8217;t they?\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/wendymcelroy.com\/news.php?extend.7996\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Renew your brilliance.&#8221;<\/a> Oh yeah.
