What only one person has mentioned so far (and that over on the private <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clairescabal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Claire&#8217;s Cabal forums<\/a>) is that <em>if you&#8217;re a gun owner who asks for help<\/em> you will be screwed six ways from Sunday. Smart gun owners <em>do not dare<\/em> let so-called mental-health professionals know they&#8217;re suffering. At the very least, they&#8217;ll lose their gun rights. And it&#8217;s not at all uncommon for cops to show up and kill them. Some &#8220;help&#8221; that is!\n<li>Yet another cop <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/thetwo-way\/2017\/05\/18\/528915380\/tulsa-police-officer-is-found-not-guilty-in-death-of-terence-crutcher\" target=\"_blank\">walks free on the &#8220;I&#8217;m a puling coward&#8221; defense<\/a>. Betty Shelby argued that <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.simplejustice.us\/2017\/05\/17\/betty-shelbys-defense-trained-to-shoot-too-soon\/\" target=\"_blank\">pre-emptive murder<\/a> was part of her training. Besides, the dispensable &#8220;civilian&#8221; didn&#8217;t give her the instant obedience expected of the peasant class.\n<li>Do you earn wages? Or are your earnings merely <a href=\"https:\/\/thepriceofliberty.org\/2017\/05\/18\/taxpayers-slaves-employees-wages-and-gifts\/\" target=\"_blank\">gifts from Massah<\/a>?\n<li>Award for the most misleading headline of the day goes to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/alysonmartin\/cannabis-reform-and-religion-in-the-south?utm_term=.pgQGbVyV6#.xrkjnBzBo\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Can Cannabis and Christ Co-Exist?&#8221;<\/a> which is actually a pretty good article about the Christian effort for medical cannabis in the religious south.\n<li>Yet another of those interesting-but-not-surprising dog studies. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/2017\/05\/16\/dogs-can-talk-humans-study-suggests\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dogs talk to us<\/a> &#8212; and we kinda-sorta understand them. Of course the <em>ways<\/em> they talk and we grok goes far beyond the barks of the study. (H\/T ML)\n<li>It&#8217;s been a quiet trend for some time. Now the larger world is beginning to notice: Protestants and Mormons are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sltrib.com\/home\/5243596-155\/utah-mormons-protestants-finding-new-spiritual\" target=\"_blank\">moving toward the Eastern Orthodox church<\/a> in search of religious renewal, deeper tradition, greater rigor, and more spiritual depth.\n<li>If meat eaters <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sadanduseless.com\/2017\/05\/meatgans\/\" target=\"_blank\">acted like vegans<\/a>. (No offense intended to vegetarians, of which there are several hereabouts.
