I have one of these books in dead-tree version and it’s excellent. Highly, highly recommended.

Here’s my Amazon link to Survival Mom: How to Prepare Your Family for Everyday Disasters and Worst-Case Scenarios. This is the one I have. The paperback makes a fine gift for people who care about preparedness but are more interested in practical, home-and-family preps than in hardcore macho survival.

Here’s my Amazon link to her co-authored book, Happy, Healthy, and Prepared: Top Tips From the Hosts of The Survival Mom Radio Network, which I have not read. This one’s Kindle only, but at the moment its price appears to be $0.00. So might want to go grab that one quickly. Lisa Bedford (Survival Mom) has no way of knowing when these prices will change.

Yesterday was the trip to the Actual Big City.
