Apparently the cultural-appropriation pecksniffs are trying to find ways (however illogical) to &#8220;allow&#8221; writers to go on creating <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.simplejustice.us\/2017\/05\/30\/humility-in-the-center-of-the-universe\/\" target=\"_blank\">characters who aren&#8217;t exactly like their authors<\/a>.\n<li>Looks as if Cleveland was looking for a reason to can the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2017\/05\/30\/us\/cleveland-tamir-rice-police-officers-disciplined\/\" target=\"_blank\">cop who murdered 12-year-old Tamir Rice<\/a>. They found one, easily enough. Hardly a substitute for the prison sentence the creep deserved, though.\n<li>On that same subject: Here&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2017\/05\/30\/us\/philando-castile-shooting-officer-trial-timeline\/\" target=\"_blank\">last minute in the life of Philando Castile<\/a>. And a cop who still has a chance of receiving real justice.\n<li>You really should take a gander at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Claire-Wolfe-346166576304\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;my&#8221; F*c*b**k page<\/a> if you haven&#8217;t lately. The anonymous non-me soul who maintains it always posts lots of quick, interesting, often funny memestuff.\n<li>Next time you&#8217;re feeling as if you can&#8217;t do anything right, as if the world&#8217;s conspiring to make you a failure, consider <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/the-many-failures-of-elon-musk-captured-in-one-giant-infographic-2017-05-24\" target=\"_blank\">the life of Elon Musk<\/a> (in one grand supergraphic of fails).\n<li>Seasteading <a href=\"https:\/\/newrepublic.com\/article\/142381\/libertarians-seek-home-high-seas\" target=\"_blank\">is not dead<\/a>.
