And so is David Codrea<\/a>. And David Hardy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

They beat up on the poo widdle defenseless U.S. government:<\/p>\n

“Plaintiff has represented himself in FOIA litigation previously, see Hardy v. DOJ, No. 98-27 (D. Az.), and is currently representing other plaintiffs in separate FOIA litigation against ATF pending before this Court, see Codrea v. ATF, No. 15-988-BAH (D.D.C.). Plaintiff would be barred from recovering fees had he represented himself in this case, see Nat\u2019l Sec. Counselors v. CIA, 811 F.3d 22, 28 (D.C. Cir. 2016), so he retained attorneys Stephen Stamboulieh and Alan Beck. Mr. Stamboulieh submitted a declaration in support of the attorney\u2019s fee request in the Codrea litigation, see Codrea, No. 15-988, Dkt. No. 28-1, and he is currently representing one of the Codrea plaintiffs in yet another FOIA suit against ATF, Savage v. ATF, No. 16-1212 (D.D.C.). In short, there is a tangled web of connections between a small cadre of firearms activists<\/strong><\/strong> and their efforts to recover fees through largely unsuccessful FOIA litigation. Yes, because the poor, defenseless fedgov has routinely stonewalled FOIA requests from gun-rights activists, those terrible gun-rights bullies are now ganging up to … well, one cannot even contemplate the horrors being committed upon the brutally battered and helpless government. One may only weep.*<\/p>\n

This week David Codrea and Kent Terry (brother of Fast and Furious gun-walking scam victim, Brian Terry) have filed suit<\/a> after having their FOIA requests ignored for over a year. <\/p>\n

Hardy, after also being stonewalled, actually managed to pummel information out of the Justice (sic) Department<\/a> a couple of months ago about the absurdities of NFA databases.<\/p>\n

And Len? Well, that villain has not only filed FOIA requests AND spent years bedeviling the ATF with his firearm designs and his challenges to their most idiotic rulings. It appears that his latest misdeed is (pdf) having invented a whole new type of legal firearm<\/a> which has since been adapted by Mossberg for the masses.<\/p>\n

May those dreadful bullies Codrea, Hardy, and Savage get what they deserve.**<\/p>\n
