(Each and every one of them, of course, is an anomaly, nothing to do with tasing at all, and besides all the dead no doubt got what was coming to them.)\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/articles\/2017\/09\/25\/driverless_madness_135076.html\" target=\"_blank\">madness of driverless cars<\/a>. (Especially given the present state of &#8220;security.&#8221;)\n<li>Wonder if a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.commanderzero.com\/?p=4457\" target=\"_blank\">notice like this one<\/a> would give SWAT cops pause &#8212; or merely encourage them to come in with guns already blazing?\n<li>Cheap &#038; easy sex <a href=\"https:\/\/beta.theglobeandmail.com\/opinion\/why-are-good-men-so-hard-to-find\/article36365252\/\" target=\"_blank\">has led to unmotivated men<\/a> and a crappy deal for women.\n<li>Wendy McElroy: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fff.org\/explore-freedom\/article\/exit-strategy-empire\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;The Exit Strategy of Empire.&#8221;<\/a>\n<li>How <a href=\"https:\/\/fee.org\/articles\/how-government-wrecked-the-gas-can\/\" target=\"_blank\">government wrecked the gas can<\/a>. If gov can ruin something so simple and fail even to begin to fix it, what kind of fool would trust it with anything more complicated?\n<li>Wonder of wonders. It&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/davidmack\/weiner-sentenced\" target=\"_blank\">off to prison<\/a> for Anthony Weiner.\n<li>Exposure of our data in hack after hack <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2017\/09\/25\/exposure-of-your-sensitive-data-isnt-a-bug-its-a-feature\/\" target=\"_blank\">isn&#8217;t a bug; it&#8217;s a feature<\/a>.\n<li>But Equifax&#8217;s CEO <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/equifax-ceo-out-2017-9\" target=\"_blank\">still had to be sacrificed<\/a>. Another &#8220;retirement.&#8221;\n<li>Seattle has a new, strictly temporary, mayor (after the last elected one finally quit under the volley of sex-abuse accusations). The temp is wildly ambitious, though. Among other things he wants the city to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seattletimes.com\/seattle-news\/politics\/new-seattle-mayor-revives-plan-to-offer-all-workers-iras\/\" target=\"_blank\">set up retirement plans<\/a> for private employees not otherwise covered. Hm. Wonder where <em>that<\/em> money will end up &#8230;?\n<li>Must see this movie! Wes Anderson. Dogs. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dt__kig8PVU\" target=\"_blank\">Great combo<\/a>. (Interesting, isn&#8217;t it, how many &#8220;American&#8221; movies &#8212; especially animated features and monster movies &#8212; are becoming so overtly Asian.
