They refused service to several people, but only the one belonged to the Offended Class. (H\/T jc2k in comments)\n<li>Stockton will become the first city in the U.S. to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2018\/05\/30\/business\/stockton-basic-income.html\" target=\"_blank\">give out free cash<\/a> in hopes of ending poverty and inequality. Except perhaps a few cronies.\n<li>The senator who pushed the successful &#8220;right to try&#8221; bill for terminally ill patients is being loud, clear, and as emphatic as he can be that his intent <a href=\"https:\/\/arstechnica.com\/science\/2018\/06\/new-drug-access-law-intended-to-weaken-fda-according-to-lawmaker-behind-it\/\" target=\"_blank\">was to cripple the FDA&#8217;s power<\/a>.\n<li>Hey, Oregon. If you&#8217;re having trouble, maybe the solution is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wweek.com\/news\/2018\/05\/30\/oregon-is-running-out-of-workers-who-can-pass-a-drug-test\/\" target=\"_blank\">damn stupid drug testing<\/a> and more respect for individual character and competence. Then prosecutors insisted, on a cruel technicality, that he <a href=\"https:\/\/reason.com\/blog\/2018\/05\/29\/this-man-was-released-from-prison-and-re\" target=\"_blank\">needed another 10 years behind bars<\/a>.
