Freedomista cartoonist Scott Bieser has a new online graphic novel. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quantumvibe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">His first solo effort.<\/a>\n<li>Even in this era of manipulative bill-naming, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/repeal-healthcare-bill-2011-1\" target=\"_blank\">this pretty much takes the cake<\/a>. I wish &#8217;em well. But sheesh, grownups don&#8217;t need propaganda names like that.\n<li>Former presidential aide <a href=\"http:\/\/gawker.com\/5723603\/former-presidential-aide-murdered-dumped-in-landfill\" target=\"_blank\">murdered and dumped<\/a>. Okay, it&#8217;s not likely to be another <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vince_Foster\" target=\"_blank\">Vince Foster<\/a> case. Still. It&#8217;s getting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/blogs\/thetwo-way\/2011\/01\/05\/132674038\/sad-tales-about-last-days-of-john-wheeler-found-dead-in-del\" target=\"_blank\">weirder<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/news\/national\/2011\/01\/04\/2011-01-04_mystery_surrounding_murder_of_former_bush_aide_john_wheeler_deepens_with_clues_o.html?r=news\" target=\"_blank\">weirder<\/a>.\n<li>So Obama is for &#8220;change.&#8221; And he&#8217;s trying to project a more pro-business image (yeah, right). The answer? Well, according to a lot of high-level speculation that means putting another <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/blogs\/itsallpolitics\/2011\/01\/04\/132647106\/william-daley-considered-for-white-house\" target=\"_blank\">Chicago pol and <i>banker<\/i><\/a> in a top position. Barak, dontcha know that in this era, bankers &#8212; especially of the JP Morgan variety &#8212; aren&#8217;t businessmen? They&#8217;re just &#8230; well, it wouldn&#8217;t be polite to say. Oh well, look on the bright side. At least he&#8217;s not another <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/bob-ostertag\/goldman-sachs-obama-money_b_177611.html\" target=\"_blank\">Goldman Sachsmanite<\/a>.\n<li>For your health (and better sleep). I&#8217;ve never tried it, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stereopsis.com\/flux\/\" target=\"_blank\">could be interesting<\/a>.\n<li>I finally got to see <i>Inception<\/i> last night. Too bad it had to be on a 22-inch monitor. Wow. Visual trip. Intricate plotting. Pretty good moviemaking all &#8217;round &#8212; even if I could barely tell what was going on for the last 45 minutes.
