(Alternatives, though they do exist, require critical mass that they aren&#8217;t gaining.)\n<li>But don&#8217;t rush to regulate Big Tech: It&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/hotair.com\/archives\/2018\/11\/25\/theres-no-point-regulating-big-tech-failing\/\" target=\"_blank\">rendering itself irrelevant<\/a> already.\n<li>Versions of &#8220;Marsy&#8217;s Law&#8221; &#8212; a victim-protection measure &#8212; are spreading through the states. A good thing? If so, how are cops managing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.overlawyered.com\/2018\/11\/victims-rights-law-shields-cops-names-after-civilian-shootings\/\" target=\"_blank\">to use the law to hide their identities<\/a> when they shoot somebody?\n<li>How many people are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propublica.org\/article\/you-snooze-you-lose-insurers-make-the-old-adage-literally-true\" target=\"_blank\">watching your medical devices<\/a>? Live. In real-time. And therefore watching your life?\n<li>If you think your god <a href=\"https:\/\/stream.org\/paradise-pastor-says-fire-was-an-answer-to-prayer-just-not-in-the-way-he-imagined\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;answered your prayers&#8221;<\/a> by destroying an entire town and killing dozens, possibly hundreds, of your neighbors, then you are sick in the head. And a major narcissist, to boot.\n<li>See, this is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wdsu.com\/article\/mandeville-couple-finds-winning-dollar18-million-jackpot-ticket-while-cleaning-house-officials-say\/25241828\" target=\"_blank\">why you should clean your house<\/a> occasionally.\n<li>Are Charlie Brown and his friends <a href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/tv-shows\/2018\/11\/22\/charlie-brown-thanksgiving-racist-franklin-scene\/\" target=\"_blank\">racists<\/a>? Sigh. (H\/T MtK)\n<li>But back in the &#8220;people are good&#8221; department &#8230; an antique dealer pays $20 to a homeless man for a piece of cartoon art, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunnyskyz.com\/good-news\/3097\/Antique-Dealer-Splits-Proceeds-With-Homeless-Man-Who-Found-Rare-Disney-Artwork\" target=\"_blank\">discovers the art is a valuable Disney original<\/a>, and does the right thing.\n<li>An IKEA store in Italy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunnyskyz.com\/good-news\/3098\/IKEA-Opens-Its-Doors-For-Homeless-Dogs-During-Cold-Winter-Months\" target=\"_blank\">does the right thing, too<\/a>. For homeless dogs.\n<li>And here&#8217;s a holiday I could get behind: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/dining\/ct-food-wolfenoot-20181017-story.html\" target=\"_blank\">Wolfenoot<\/a> &#8212; created by a little kid to benefit canines, wild and domestic, and the people who help them. Here&#8217;s the official <a href=\"https:\/\/wolfenoot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wolfenoot website<\/a>.\n<li>A sixth-grader does the right thing, too, after <a href=\"http:\/\/www.waff.com\/2018\/11\/22\/sixth-grader-leaves-note-car-that-bus-driver-damaged\/\" target=\"_blank\">his school bus driver hit &#038; ran<\/a> a man&#8217;s parked car. (H\/T MtK)\n<li>And a stranger who was accidentally invited to a grandma&#8217;s Thanksgiving dinner three years ago <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boredpanda.com\/grandma-accidental-thanksgiving-invitation-jamal-hinton\/\" target=\"_blank\">has become an annual guest<\/a>.\n<\/ul>\n<p>Today is Cyber Monday.
