How to win.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n
1. Contest is open to anybody, anywhere.<\/p>\n
2. I will pay media-mail shipping within the U.S.; if the winner is in any other country, s\/he will have to pay shipping (which, alas, may not be worth it; mailing heavy items outside the country gets pricey very fast).<\/p>\n
3. To enter, send an email to bookcontest-at-hermit-dot-cotse-dot-net telling why you need\/want\/believe you’re the best person in the world to receive these items. Your entry may be of any reasonable length and you may enter more than once.<\/p>\n
4. Email your entries before January 10, 2019.<\/p>\n
5. Entries will be judged on: a) Your real-world use\/need for the items (60%); b) uniqueness\/creativity of your entry (30%); c) style, wit, profundity, desperation, gud speling, or other intangibles (10%). In event of a tie, I’ll put potential winners’ names in a hat and draw one.<\/p>\n
