Here are dog-rescue videos. Mostly these are beyond the more ususal &#8220;rescue group gets word of an abandoned pup&#8221; stories. These are dogs snatched from the jaws of death.<\/p>\n<p>A drowning girl <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Lq_CfoSWGMo\" target=\"_blank\">is pulled from a well<\/a> where she&#8217;s probably been trapped and swimming for hours. The expression on her face is unforgettable.<\/p>\n<p>AWESOME men <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NzOIafUhatU\" target=\"_blank\">risk their own safety<\/a> to save a dog who&#8217;s been valiantly trying, but failing, to save itself.<\/p>\n<p>Man <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NVe6fC4Af-w\" target=\"_blank\">gives CPR<\/a> to a puppy that&#8217;s effectively dead. (And I&#8217;m guessing this tiny baby was thrown to its fate by some some cruel &#038;^%$#.)<\/p>\n<p>Here are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GLNXEuEmh6c\" target=\"_blank\">just a bunch of good people<\/a> rescuing endangered dogs.<\/p>\n<p>On the lighter side, maybe not all all dogs are worth saving. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=88XQcpU5Vuk\" target=\"_blank\">This one&#8217;s a damn snitch<\/a>. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Finally, because I always give short shrift to cats, here&#8217;s a story (non-video; lots of photos) about a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boredpanda.com\/woman-rescue-blind-cat-recover-animal-friends-project-inc\/\" target=\"_blank\">starving, blind kitten<\/a> who turn out to be one of life&#8217;s winning beauties.<\/p>\n<p>If those (except for that turncoat rat-dog) don&#8217;t give your faith in humanity a little upward nudge, I&#8217;m not sure what will.<\/p>\n<p>Now, after spending most of the day out of bed, I&#8217;m fading fast. I&#8217;ll probably be ready to return to reality in a few days, but right now (and all week) I&#8217;m having trouble even typing. So it&#8217;s offline for me and if you spot missing words, repeated words, or complete incoherencies, that&#8217;s just how it is when you&#8217;ve caught the plague.
