The only word I&#8217;ve had from the outside world is from NPR. That&#8217;s been good for about 30 seconds a day, as they&#8217;ve dropped their all-immigrant-all-the-time coverage for their utmost favorite topic, all-blood-dancing-all-the-time. But I&#8217;m optimistic; I&#8217;m going to go out and check the news, assuming not every media outlet can be so narrow-minded.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why should you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2019\/08\/second-amendment-right-to-effective-self-defense-more-important-than-ever\/\" target=\"_blank\">be outgunned<\/a> by violent people who hate you?\n<li>This <em>Atlantic<\/em> article has been around for a few years. But at moments like this it&#8217;s encouraging to recall that in the past even the mainstream media has acknowledged <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/magazine\/archive\/2011\/09\/the-secret-history-of-guns\/308608\/\" target=\"_blank\">that &#8220;gun control&#8221; has historically had malign intent<\/a>. (H\/T DT)\n<li>LOL. Casting <em>Lord of the Flies<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanthinker.com\/articles\/2019\/08\/casting_lord_of_the_flies_with_democratic_candidates.html\" target=\"_blank\">with Democrat presidential candidates.\n<li>This morning, Blogger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.libertyparkpress.com\/breaking-popular-blog-no-lawyers-only-guns-locked-appeal-filed\/\" target=\"_blank\">locked the blog<\/a> No Lawyers &#8212; Only Guns and Money<\/a>. Now, the rambunctious five-year-old Harry Potter fan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inspiremore.com\/tom-felton-meets-tiny-fan\/\" target=\"_blank\">gets a visit<\/a> from <del datetime=\"2019-08-07T18:34:40+00:00\">Draco Malfoy<\/del> Tom Felton.\n<li>She walked into a shelter and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.littlethings.com\/woman-takes-home-older-shelter-dogs\/\" target=\"_blank\">asked to adopt<\/a> their oldest, most unwanted dog.
