Sounds as if their nannifying hoplophobes are just as bad as ours, though.\n<li>NAFTA North. Sigh.\n<li>But don&#8217;t worry. The fedgov&#8217;s rushing to the rescue to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/epicenter\/2011\/02\/do-not-track-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\">protect our online privacy.<\/a> I especially like the part about all those levels of government that are above the proposed law.\n<li>Kevin Wilmeth, Rifleman Savant, <a href=\"http:\/\/rifleman-savant.blogspot.com\/2011\/02\/america-just-been-schooled-by-egypt.html\" target=\"_blank\">gets it exactly right<\/a> on Egypt. The future&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/politicalhumor.about.com\/od\/politicalcartoons\/ig\/Political-Cartoons\/Egypt-Revolution.htm\" target=\"_blank\">still dangerous<\/a> (isn&#8217;t it always?). But the NOW has been magnificent. And zownds! &#8212; the Empire was irrelevant to it all.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/02\/13\/opinion\/13rich.html\" target=\"_blank\">Madoff was a piker.<\/a> But then, you already knew that. (NY Times free subscription link.)\n<li>How Aaron Barr (the &#8220;security expert&#8221; who bosted he&#8217;d pwned Anonymous) <a href=\"http:\/\/arstechnica.com\/tech-policy\/news\/2011\/02\/how-one-security-firm-tracked-anonymousand-paid-a-heavy-price.ars\" target=\"_blank\">got his comeuppance.<\/a> And <a href=\"http:\/\/img838.imageshack.us\/img838\/2294\/internetsanon.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a> is a pretty fair opionion (you might need to click to enlarge) of him and the fed-entwined &#8220;security company&#8221; he works for. Pretty hysterical.\n<li>Charles Hugh Smith: If you&#8217;re so sure we&#8217;re going to have hyperinflation <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oftwominds.com\/blogfeb11\/expectations-hyperinflation02-11.html\" target=\"_blank\">why don&#8217;t you max out your credit cards?<\/a>\n<li>And Smith again on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oftwominds.com\/blogfeb11\/corp-jobs-02-11.html\" target=\"_blank\">why a jobless recovery<\/a> makes perfect sense to TPTB. They don&#8217;t need the U.S. middle class any more. So they think.\n<li>But at least we can still laugh.
