Well, until Jake&#8217;s adventures re-commence (and even afterward), there&#8217;s Sandy Sandfort&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smashwords.com\/books\/view\/14227\" target=\"_blank\"><i>The Resurrections of Robert Heinlein<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is a Smashwords book, available in every conceivable electronic format. You can buy. But you can read the first 75 percent for free in most formats.<\/p>\n<p>Definitely a good read for Heinlein fans.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>For watching, here&#8217;s Jim Bovard doing his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dylanratigan.com\/2011\/09\/15\/fixing-job-training-programs\/\" target=\"_blank\">dissing of federal job-training programs<\/a> on MSNBC.<\/p>\n<p>Jeez, Jim looks more like a surly eccentric hermit than I do. (I am neither balding nor bearded, thank the fates.) But he talks reel gud. <\/p>\n<p><i>Wall Street Journal<\/i> and MSNBC in one week. Jim, don&#8217;t go getting a big head about this now &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>For your listening pleasure, there&#8217;s Michael W. Dean and Neema Vedadi&#8217;s latest podcast, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freedomfeens.com\/2011\/09\/15\/moderates-are-people-who-think-everything-should-be-a-little-bit-illegal\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Moderates Are People Who Think Everything Should Be a Little Bit Illegal&#8221;<\/a> (good point there, guys).<\/p>\n<p>The podcast is an hour long, which I admit taxes my patience for &#8216;Net based media.
