But it makes me all the more grateful for that freezer full of grass-fed beef. (H\/T PT.)\n<li>Now, this I definitely believe: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/frederickallen\/2012\/03\/06\/study-finds-that-having-power-can-make-you-stupid\/\" target=\"_blank\">Having power makes you stupid<\/a>.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052970204603004577267632224945836.html?mod=WSJ_Opinion_LEADTop\" target=\"_blank\">Something actually good about Rick Santorum.<\/a>\n<li>I try not to lift too much from Radley Balko, since I figure a lot of the same people read his blog and mine, but this was too good: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.republicreport.org\/2012\/exclusive-why-cant-you-smoke-pot-because-lobbyists-are-getting-rich-off-of-the-war-on-drugs\/\" target=\"_blank\">Why you can&#8217;t smoke pot.<\/a> (Because there&#8217;s sooooooo much money and lobbying for the drug warriors.)\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/jeff-klima\/10-rules-for-a-literary-f_b_804543.html\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;10 Rules for a Literary Feud.&#8221;<\/a> No, seriously. It&#8217;s not some intellectual snoot piece. Rule 5! It&#8217;s SO true! And for that matter, so are 4 and 3. (Tip o&#8217; hat to JS.)\n<li>Speaking of sources I normally don&#8217;t believe, that fundraising monster (and champion hate group) the Southern Poverty Law Center is right up there at the top of the &#8220;take with entire truckload of salt&#8221; list. Still, I&#8217;m considering <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/blogs\/thetwo-way\/2012\/03\/08\/148217754\/report-explosive-growth-of-patriot-movement-and-militias-continues\" target=\"_blank\">this to be good news<\/a>.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/media.caglecartoons.com\/media\/cartoons\/20\/2012\/03\/07\/107702_600.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Best comment on Holder&#8217;s pro-murder speech<\/a>. (A cartoon, of course; via <a href=\"http:\/\/wendymcelroy.com\/news.php\" target=\"_blank\">Wendy<\/a>.)\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.salon.com\/2012\/03\/05\/the_cost_of_americas_police_state\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;The cost of America&#8217;s police state.&#8221;<\/a> Yeah, that about begins to describe the situation.
