I didn&#8217;t. But it&#8217;s coming right up. Clearly we need to celebrate!\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/nymag.com\/news\/features\/liberals-conservatives-2012-4\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Born this way.&#8221;<\/a> This article would be fascinating if it admitted the existence of something other than conservatives and liberals.\n<li>I hesitated to post <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-2123415\/Putin-targets-foes-zombie-gun-attack-victims-central-nervous-system.html\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a>. Seems reports of horrific weapons-in-development ring alarms every week, and many of them never go farther than that. Must admit, though, this one&#8217;s particularly creepy. Let&#8217;s hope this is one of the vaporware weapons.\n<li>One of the few intelligent things I&#8217;ve seen <a href=\"http:\/\/criminaldefenseblog.blogspot.com\/2012\/04\/you-pray-for-conviction-while-i-pray.html\" target=\"_blank\">about the Trayvon Martin\/George Zimmerman case.<\/a>\n<li>Hmmmm. And wasn&#8217;t it just a week or two ago that we <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rawstory.com\/rs\/2012\/04\/09\/robertson-tells-man-you-are-the-boss-in-marriage\/\" target=\"_blank\">were praising this guy<\/a> for his enlightened views on the drug war?\n<li>Alternative currencies. In the real world. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/world-europe-17680904\" target=\"_blank\">In Greece<\/a>. (H\/T EN)\n<li>The <i>New Yorker<\/i> belatedly discovers <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/talk\/financial\/2012\/04\/16\/120416ta_talk_surowiecki\" target=\"_blank\">medical tourism<\/a> (aka affordable medical care).\n<\/ul>\n<p>Happy Friday the 13th!<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>* Okay, only <i>one<\/i> rusted bicycle. But I&#8217;ll bet that&#8217;s more bicycles than <i>you<\/i> have integrated into your landscaping. (The old car tire and the broken float are bonuses.) It&#8217;s a testimony to the sort of neighborhood I live in that within an hour of tossing that non-functional bike onto a trash heap, somebody asked if he could have it.
