If you think the weather’s bad in your neighborhood, take a look at this footage from Toowoomba in eastern Australia, where (at latest count) 10 are dead and 78 missing after six inches of rain fell in half an hour. And that’s after weeks of earlier “slow-motion disaster” due to flooding.

I soooo feel these peoples’ pain….and it seems to be a never ending situation there, not just a day or two blast; that has to be hell….The video is only 5-6 minutes yet look at how much happens in such short of time, it really is that fast….
Brings new meaning to the term “Down Under” for Australia.
I don’t allow google anything to run on my browser so am unable to see the video.
When I go to the link to Read the article [minus the video] I am informed that I Must Register to continue ?
I’m sure it is very interesting but no thanks.
the problem child …
gooch
Sorry, gooch.
I’m often the same sort of problem child when it comes to flash, javascript, and other jazzy-tracky content. But when it comes to YouTube, which is too good to miss out on, I just give temporary permission knowing that I’ve got apps and preferences set to delete any flash cookies or other known tracking devices. Works for me. But you gotta do what you gotta do, and yours sounds like the course of maximum discretion.
Yeah thats pretty bad but our weather isn’t great either…My overnight trip to Charlotte turned out to be 3 friggin days because of ice. Fun…
