Blogging up a storm

Hey. I just noticed that BHM webmaster Oliver Del Signore has been blogging up a storm since just before Christmas. (And apparently blogging a big enough storm to dent in the top of his car.)

I can’t imagine how he finds the time to say so much and say it so well, since I knew he was already working 12 hour days before he started blogging so prolifically.

I confess to being the friend that he refers to in his blogs on Terry Pratchett Discworld books (there; Oliver and I now have dueling Amazon links) and the Judy Holliday movie Born Yesterday. I appreciate your discretion, Oliver. But it’s okay to “out” me on books and movies. 🙂

But hey, fella, if we’re such friends, how come you never told me you were blogging — let alone doing it so well?

Lucky readers. Now you’ve got an extra great place to visit on days when Living Freedom is blank. Or even on days I’m being brilliant. Oliver may be moreso. 🙂

I have to lol at you not knowing, since he’s “right next door” sort of……I’ll admit to coming here first, but I do try to read all the others too….

Somehow I picture Dave being dragged into the world of Facebook and Twitter kicking and screaming, not to mention all the other technology…..I have no idea why I think that, other than to assume he’s spent so many years getting started/keeping it rolling along old school that changing it up now probably causes so much extra work (when he could be doing other things he’s use to doing)……

And I’d be almost as lost without Jackie, as I am definitely lost if I didn’t have Claire’s blog to come to & learn from…….

naturegirl — go right ahead and LOL. I don’t know how I missed that Oliver has been blogging! I check the other blogs every few days, myself — which means I must have looked right at the link to Oliver’s blog and somehow just not seen it. That’s BAD.

I’ve never met Oliver but he and I both love movies and we’ve been exchanging movie reviews regularly for I don’t know how many years. Seven or eight, at least. He’s one of the most charming and gracious and often very funny people you’d ever like to know. Now that I FINALLY know he’s blogging, I’ll be a regular visitor.

BTW, I have the same impression about Dave and technology …

It’s gonna take you a while, Oliver seems to have a lot to say, hehe……

Sometimes it’s hard for all of us to keep up with all the info flying around everywhere, it’s like it’s own full time job…..

Thank you for the plug, Claire.

I kept meaning to send you an email, but you know me. I’d usually remember when I was in my car or in bed, half asleep. And heck, it was more fun this way. Now you feel a little guilty and I have an idea how it feels to be a Jewish or Italian mother.

“It’s gonna take you a while, Oliver seems to have a lot to say, hehe……”

naturegirl, you have no idea! I’m amazed my parents hadn’t changed my name to Opinionated by the time I hit puberty.

If you’re going to stop by to read the blog posts, please leave some comments. I love to hear what folks think, whether they agree or not.

    Thanks again, Claire!
