Book and movie in progress

No, not my book and movie. I wish! But while I’m busy deadlining today, here for your perusal are …

The Advisor. A novel being being published in blog form by our own “Jake MacGregor.” You may know this fine gentleman and darned good storyteller from the comment section.

Atlas Shrugged, Part 2: the website! According to Jim B. in the comments, the site has recently gone up. If all those years of Hollywood “development hell” didn’t deter John Aglialoro from producing part i, it appears that disappointing ticket sales and predictable critical slams aren’t going to kill part II. Yay! Whatever its artistic merits, I expect the Atlas trilogy to make a mint in DVD and streaming form. As I said way back, IMHO its artistic merits are far beyond what anybody could have expected, given its budget and production problems. When it comes out on DVD, I want it.

Thank YOU, Curt S. I agree it’s a great read. Jake will probably have chapter 10 up in a day or two. He seems to write fast — but not fast enough!

Thanks for the heads-up about Jake and his wonderful book. It’s a best-seller in the making I reckon.

    Speaking of books:

    Just finished the book.

I have just this to say about the book: “Whew, wadda book!”

Written Gen LaGreaca, who is a former pharmaceutical chemist and now a writer in the health care field. So she’ll know what she talking about.

I’ve already pretty much described the plot in a previous entry above.

I think this should become a classic among the freedom novels.

The book will make you laugh, it’ll make you cry, it’ll make you despair, it’ll make you cheer!

While I think everyone should read the book to see the problems of “Managed Care”, I think it’ll be particularly the ladies who’ll enjoy the book the most. It’s not only a freedom novel, its a story of passion, of enthusiam, and yes, its also a love story, one guys can bear.

A warning to the guys, it’s not a gun blazing novel, not a single gun will appear, which means that this will be a book good for women who don’t care about guns.

Claire, you may want to let the people at BHM a heads up about this book so they can stock it. It really is good, one that needs a wider release.
