A find from MamaLiberty. Brilliantly sarcastic responses to completely well-meaning signs.
Not all are safe for work. But most are pretty darned hilarious. And some of them make a wonderful amount of good sense.
MamaLiberty and I both sort of favored this one:
Thanks for that! I haven’t laughed so hard since the day I discovered “Damn You Auto Correct!”
I stole that fair and square off facebook. Sometimes goodness shows up even there. 🙂
Kent, I also think “Damn You, Auto Correct!” is a hoot. So much of a hoot that I suspect some of those “corrections” have simply got to be made up.
Even a computer couldn’t screw up that badly …
MamaLiberty, wherever you stole ’em from, they’re a hit.
I think the iphone auto correct is in a class by itself. My wife has one and I get amazing texts from her. She’s also showed me some of the ‘suggestions’ and they were not ‘G’ rated. I’ve wondered if they designed it for trash talking young folk.
A friend had his 8 year old daughter swipe his iphone in the middle of the night while she was raiding the kitchen. She texted her uncle that she was eating apple pie but the word was not ‘apple’. It led to a worried middle of the night phone call.
Ok, regarding the cell phone and texting thing. Can somebody tell me why anyone really believes other people need to know ALL THAT STUFF? Why would an 8 year old find a need to broadcast news of her snack to the world? I just don’t get it.
Would have been a little more appropriate if the “lampost” had been Number 6 . . .
😉
