He should have more creative accountants and he might not have had to travel so much. It looks like he was an ideal fellow in that he earned his money. he didn’t steal it or take government bailouts. I wish him well in his fight with the taxman.

It’s just not an option to me as a wage slave. I used to do the 1099 and other approaches – nothing illegal of course. The options ran out when my health went bad and my wife’s went worse so I had to find a W-2 job where it’s all official. Younger, healthier people should look into the contracting side of work. As it has gone international there’s lots of ways to shelter assets.

Wish him the best. I guessing he might win this easily.

I hope he beats these guys handily and then disappears again to parts unknown and enjoys his wealth, that he legitimately earned, to the last dollar and the last day he has on earth. Screw Saipan and their corrupt bureaucrats who are trying to soak him.

If he is unable to beat this and enjoy his wealth in peace then I hope they find he is “broke” on paper and all his assets are in hard metals in places NOBODY will ever find and they can’t collect a dollar from him. Serves them right for harassing him in the first place.

Notice how one article says $59 million and the other claims $118 million. Government accounting for you!
