“UPDATE 6 2:49pm: National Journal’s Marc Ambinder tweets: FEMA official concedes “glitch”; says that it appears (maybe) to be related to how satellite and cable providers prepped their equipment.”

That’s FEMA for you. It doesn’t work, and they find somebody else to blame.

Yep. Too bad we weren’t handing out prizes for the most astute supposition about the outcome, ENthePeasant. A very close namesake of yours would have won.

🙂 And the next thing they do is ask for bigger budgets, expanded authority, and more personnel so they can screw up on an even larger scale.

Count on it. And I want to thank Mr. Peasant for bringing up my brilliance. I’d forgot I posted that… 😉 Actually, once you start seeing the government accurately, and not as you wish they were (like most Americans do), there’s no brilliance involved, Just observation.

I saw some people on facebook saying their TVs automatically switched to a station showing “Walker, Texas Ranger”. As big a statist as that fictional character (and the actor who portrays him) is, it was probably intentional.

Kent, that’s hysterical! I never saw the show, but it’s got to be more entertaining and better produced than anything FEMA has to say. 🙂

The test failed this time so you didnt get FEMA’s subliminal messaging like: See something, say something. Vote for Obama. Guns are evil – turn them in to police, etc. Not to worry, there is plenty of time for more “tests” before the 2012 election.
