Is Wyoming expecting to get so much mileage from the Yellowstone Caldera that they’ll be able to float an aircraft carrier in the foreseeable future?

I suggest a new state motto: “Wyoming – Still Landlocked Today, Check Back Tomorrow.”

Seems the intent is to decide what wygov should do to preserve itself rather than assist the chattel slaves.

Whether the bill’s tongue in cheek or not, it might prove useful for awakening freedomistas to the fact that no government – state, county, or local – is their friend.

What this shows me is that when the US collapses – or rather, falls to visible pieces, since it’s been collapsing for a spell – your local governments will happily make themselves your local feudal lords. And are already thinking of how best to solidify their absolute rule over your lives.

I understand that there is already a bidding contest to berth the aircraft carrier in Boysen Lake and in Alcova reservoir.

I agree with Victor. Don’t be too surprised if you discover that some half-wit legislator (who thinks he’s the smartest man that ever lived) is caught masturbating in a hotel room at the Holiday Inn, wearing an admirals uniform, with a pound of coke, two hookers, a rooster, spider monkey, and a blown up pic of an aircraft carrier on the ceiling above the bed. This is a disease with no cure and no warning as to who has it.

Haha! Well said EN! But I must mildly disagree ….there IS a cure….

True Bumperwack! I was speaking of a medical cure that leaves the diseased asshat able to live in peace with his neighbors without trying to control their lives. The more traditional cure is always necessary in the end.

I find it alarming that WY has a DHS. It is also indicative that Mother Jones has a problem with the whole thing in that they’ve gone to a professor of political science for the answer. The PS crowd has a lamentable record for prediction and they very often can’t even get history right. If they were any good they’d give up slopping at the academic public trough and day trade.

Hey if they wait around enough they might be able to get a carrier for a steal at the USN going out of business sale.

Far as I know there was no mention of the aircraft carrier in the bill, just some wag at the star-trib socialist rag being cute.

After talking to a good number of Wyomingites, it’s pretty clear that few of us outside Cheyenne and Casper think much of this idea. As in we don’t consider it worth our time to think about it much. We’ve got our own ideas and they can keep theirs.

Oh… and the DHS persons have been good for a laugh for quite a while now. The guy here who drives a truck so marked is not a bad chap… but I’m sure he’s had to grow a thick skin.

Much ado about nothing much… We’ve got snow to shovel right now…
