I think it’s a very good idea — if you’re going to elect someone at all — to throw your support behind a politician who’s already in prison.
You know, save time convicting him later and all that.
Besides, the guy has some pretty worthy positions.

From what I’ve read he’d gotten little publicity before. The MSM ignore those they deem unworthy. That was mostly an expression of their feelings for the prez. If Obama can’t even get Democrats to vote for him he should worry.
I do like the idea of convicts for high office. Like you point out they come preconvicted. We could save a lot of money on the SS, oops Secret Service. Just contract it out to the ethnically appropriate gang. It would also save a bundle on foreign travels. We wouldn’t have these enormous imperial travels. The Convict-in-Chief could use a webcam.

Hey, it worked for James Michael Curley, as any Bostonian will tell you. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Michael_Curley#1st_prison_term
Alas, it didn’t work so well for those Bostonians who had to go to the trouble of convicting him both before and after he won elections. Bother, bother. Well, let that be a lesson to all v*ters: Make sure the guy you v*te for is in prison for such a serious crime he’ll never get out so you won’t have to do it all over again.
Marion Barry.
Here’s a little more info on Judd: http://www.chron.com/news/article/Texas-inmate-gives-Obama-a-run-in-WVa-primary-3546900.php
It appears that he has the further advantage of being crazy. So in addition to saving taxpayers’ money, when we hear his policy proposals, we won’t have to waste our time exclaiming, “What? Is he completely insane???” We’ll already know the answer.
Let’s not forget our “Founding Felons”. Traitors to the crown one and all.
Speaking of insanity, take a gander at this bit of Anti-Self Defense.

I’m a bit curious where Mr. Judd got that much money to do this. I’ve always accepted the idea that those who go through the “justice” meat grinder are usually relieved of their ready cash in the process. He may be independently wealthy and just not appear that way… but it makes me wonder. He certainly looks crazy – for whatever that’s worth.
Though the idea of seeing politicians behind bars makes me slightly giddy… I’d really prefer to start with those who currently have their fingers on the destructo button!
I am actually going a step farther than voting for convicted felons. While I like the idea that they are already behind bars I think they can still do too much damage and lets face it, eventually they will probably get out requiring us to re-convict them all over again.
I say we should only vote for already dead politicians. Think about it, we have a wide selection, which gets larger every year, they will NEVER be coming back, and they can’t do any damage unless we have a zombie apocalypse. I say vote for dead politicians only.
Completely off topic…… Claire, in case you feel like the only one with neighbor from hell problems, here’s an example that I hope will make you chuckle over the clever and appropriate “solution”.

Karen — What perfect justice. I’m so glad somebody got a photo. (Now I just wish they’d fess up to how they got that car into the tree!)
My NfH has been strangely quiet lately. Something tells me this can’t last …
Anyone who would spend “ages souping up a Ford Escort” deserves to have it up a tree…..*the former owner of a Ford Escort*
Haha, dread mullet FTW.
