“Comedian asks: What’s so funny about the Bill of Rights?”
There was no monument to the BoR, so he raised the money and got one built.

Now I want a giant monument to the ZAP in front of my house- but until then I’ll have to fulfill that spot myself.

So does that mean it’s time for a diet?
Nice timing, Claire.
“In a big victory for gun rights advocates, a federal appeals court on Tuesday struck down a ban on carrying concealed weapons in Illinois – the only remaining state where carrying concealed weapons is entirely illegal.
“The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals said state lawmakers have 180 days to write a new law that legalizes concealed carry.”

Hey, that’s great news, LarryA. I was kind of wondering whether the folks behind that BoR monument would rather have eliminated the second.
Now, let’s just watch out for those “reasonable limitations” in Illinois …
Guess I’m skeptical of how good it’ll be. My mind’s too simple to understand how “shall not be infringed” = “reasonable restrictions are okay” to begin with, so no particular limitation will strike me as more reasonable or likely than any other.
I see no compelling reason to believe this will lead to anything favorable to actual people.
But…maybe.
David- If I’m going to be giant I’ll have to eat a lot more. I am rather tall, though. Maybe I’ll be a ZAP totem pole.

If you do it, I’ll buy a T-shirt.
