- Police get banned from a Vermont shooting range.
- And the FBI gets banned from Iceland.
- We can only go on wishing the ATF would get banned from the universe.
- And that the Pentagon could be kept out of the world’s computers. I fear this is much more ominous than it seems.
- OTOH, maybe we can foil snoops in part with the idioms we use.
- I never thought I’d side with the operators of red-light cameras. But in this case …
- But of course, the USPS is certainly not all bad.
- Finally, Jim Bovard borrows a marketing spiel from The Onion. (And why not? The fedgov (which we all love so devotedly) has been borrowing its policies from The Onion for years.)

Thanks and an apology to all the people who sent or posted these great links. I’ve been saving some of them for a week and don’t remember who-all found them. So I can’t give proper credit. But you’re all brilliant, I’m sure. 🙂

Our club ended the free membership for local cops bylaw when a few of them disregarded club rules and shot holes in the backstops with hot-loaded 357s. Don’t miss those free loaders either. I do miss the $30 per member special assessment to get it fixed though.

Sometimes, just when you think you’re a lone voice in Europe a writer comes along who surprises you. Even more so that the paper published her!

Roger — Wow, that is really good. And she even quotes J.D. Tuccille. Not bad, not bad. Maybe there’s hope for Europe after all. 🙂
Considering what kind of trucks the Post Office uses, teaching drivers they don’t have to follow the rules reminds me of the ditty they taught me in driver’s ed back in the day.
“He was right, dead right as he sped along.
But he’s just as dead as if he’d been wrong.”
Here’s an Hollywood actor, who is actually a refreshing change of pace from the regular gun hating Hollyweird.
