I sorta forgot to keep the “Tansy Shrugged” story thread alive. Which means WordPress’s spam settings cut off new contributions.
Puptent was the only active contributor at the end. The story was going where I didn’t feel equipped to follow and perhaps that’s the way other contributors felt, too. Or maybe we all just got busy. But puptent was writing fantastic stuff and the story definitely had fans, including me (and Laird, it’s biggest cheerleader).
So … should we open a new “Tansy Shrugged” thread to keep this thing going?
(I liked MamaLiberty’s suggestion of taking T. and friends over to the Writers Block at TMM. But puptent says his (I ASS-U-ME puptent is a he) computer doesn’t like that site.)
Well, I see that Puptent has added a couple more installments since last I checked; that’s nice. As someone who has contributed precisely nothing to the story line (not having much imagination for this sort of thing), if I get a vote I say keep it going.
I’d hate to see Tansy die off for lack of interest; there were three good storylines developing – Claire’s, ML’s, and puptent’s, and all would hold my attention.
But I have enough on my plate right now, and I don’t want to follow another website/blog/forum. I v*te to keep it here.
Can’t imagine why anyone’s ‘puter wouldn’t “like” TMM… it’s a clean site and we don’t run nasty trackers or scripts, that I know of. If Puptent wants to write to me personally, I’ll try my best to track the problem. mamaliberty at rtconnect dot net – just replace the at and dot with appropriate symbols.
And Pat… you could bookmark the Tansy thread and just look at it occasionally. You don’t really need to register to do that, but no info is required to register except a valid email address… so it’s not that big a deal.
But whatever the gang wants… I spend time at TMM daily as an admin, and I look at Claire’s blog at least twice a day… so I’m in if we can get it going again. đŸ™‚

I vote to continue the story(s) that you all are doing such a great job of writing.
Just let me know where and when.
If someone can send me a text file of the thread from before, I’ll be glad to post it at TMM… so we can have the previous stuff for reference.
I’ve been going back and reading bits of it as I have time. I like. Might contribute, if the spirit and time allow. Not sure why we need a change of venue, but I might follow it at TMM.
MamaLiberty — I think that’s a great idea. I’ll make up a text document from the original blog post and the comments, taking out bits that are just comment, leaving in the story and the nyms of the contributors.
Maybe if Puptent is still having trouble with TMM, you could walk him through whatever the problem is.
Given that the comment threads have to keep closing down here to keep spammers at bay, TMM does seem like the best forever option. And more people will have a chance to see and join in.
