Okay, a little lightening up seems in order.
Petheadz portraits by Zachary Rose.
And in honor of graduation season: Six college degrees for dogs.
Eight signs your cat is actually a dog:

And what if your roommates were like cats or dogs?
You might have warned me that the dog/panty hose link included a very strong argument for completely unlibertarian involuntary commitment.
Strange, very strange. Even for me. : )
Something off topic, but interesting.

Definitely creepy. Shouldn’t there be a law against that?
Hey, we’re allowed to go off topic? My turn.

Call me a pessimist (I am), I don’t know about that being a huge win. He was still convicted of violating a holding order on an act that they found to be lawful.
But if District of Calamity can convict and fine a guy for using a gun to protect a child, why not?
I like the dogs in pantyhose. But then I’m not a dog person. 🙂
Bear, can we at least call it a small win? These days I’ll take my victories where I can find them.
Laird, wait until sentencing. Right now he faces as much as a year in prison and a $10,000 fine. On top of the lost revenue and products. And it was Reitzig, a founder of Farm Food Freedom Coalition, who called it a “huge win”.
And Wisconsin get another court precedent allowing the ‘authorities’ to shut you down even when you’ve broken no law.
(And for sheer boneheaded irony: “It’s impossible to make an unsafe product safe,” said Shawn Pfaff, spokesman for the Wisconsin Safe Milk Coalition, an industry lobbying group opposed to raw-milk sales.
So… the Safe Milk Coalition is saying that raw milk can’t be made safe. Even by pasteurization. -facepalm-)
The cat/dog friend vid had me laughing out loud. ‘Specially when the “cat” flips the bird!
I just watched Dogs Decoded (Nova) which is incredibly interesting (it’s available for streaming on netflix).
On the raw milk issue – We can buy raw pork, beef, poultry with no restrictions on consumption. Hell, you could buy raw dog turds and eat them if you’d like. The only reason they go after these small raw milk producers is because it’s impossible for large dairies to run a clean enough operation to produce a safe raw product – so they send their proxy-thugs to shove guns in the faces of honest people and deprive them of their livelihoods.
