Sorry to have been among the missing these last few days. This spring has been … well, to say hectic wouldn’t be quite right. (I am Keeping Calm and Carrying On.) But I’ve got so much going on right now that I’m having to plan and balance everything down to a gnat’s pubic hair to keep things from flying out of control.
The next three weeks will be the worst of it — after which I’m looking forward to a more relaxed summer.
I will try to be better about posting. But meanwhile, by special request, have some cute puppy-ness. Found lots of it this morning.
This one’s for MamaLiberty:
And lots more where that came from.
And how about an orphaned pit bull adopted by a cat?
And who knew a Maltese puppy could fly?
I was trying to find a really cute Maltese puppy for WL, but some of the things people do to “enhance” Maltese cuteness are really enough to gag a maggot.
I did sorta like this one, though:
But enough of the foo-foo dogs. Big pooches can be adorable, too:
Okay, maybe “adorable” isn’t exactly the right word …

Well that didn’t work, mind deleting my first comment Claire?
A well-trained dog
Oh, marvelous Corgi!! And so many other fun dogs. It’s a darn good thing it’s Sunday and I’m taking the day off! LOL
Laddie did finally come in and reluctantly left the knuckle bone outside (bones are not allowed in the house… greasy)… but he did insist on going out once in the middle of the night… I assume it was to make sure nothing had stolen it.
Unfortunately, I didn’t even think of the resident mountain lion here until I’d let him back in!! Might need to rethink this if he keeps wanting to go out at night.
Well, I can tell you that Maltese cuteness is widespread, except when some of those foo-foo folks dress them. Eww.
I have a friend in Germany who has many photos of her Maltese in motion. You’d swear this dog can levitate! He goes everywhere with her (Germany doesn’t have dog restrictions.) It’s so cool.
Thanks for the dog photos. Made our day! I hope your “busy” time is due to good stuff. 🙂
Here’s a cute video about animal rehab. Goats, in this case.
Wonderful fun!! Glad you can come up for air. Take care during your crunch time.
Excellent. Thank you, Claire. 🙂
The title was supposed to read “Astro Strumpet”. Astral is something different, and a foreign concept to my generation.
I need an editor.
